Job summary

AOG Living is looking for a Maintenance Technician to handle daily pool and grounds upkeep for an apartment community in Houston. You will perform routine cleaning, monitor pool chemistry, manage logs, and assist with housekeeping to ensure a safe, pleasant living environment for residents.

The role is entry-level with on-the-job training, requiring reliability and basic physical stamina, and involves outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months stable employment in customer service or another related field.
• The skills needed for this position can be learned on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from office areas and common areas daily.
• Clean and maintain pool daily; monitor chemical balance and log records.
• Check pool area gates for proper operation and security.
• Clean carpets in vacant and occupied units as directed by Lead Maintenance.
• Water plants and report irrigation issues to Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Power washing as preventative maintenance.
• Trash removal from vacant units.
• Assist Housekeeper with cleaning offices, grounds, common areas and vacant apartments.
