Job summary

AOG Living is seeking a dependable maintenance assistant to handle daily pool and grounds upkeep for an apartment community.

The role reports to the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor and is an entry-level position with on-the-job training available. Responsibilities include pool care, trash removal, and assisting with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe living environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of stable employment in customer service or related field.
• Certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities (e.g., pool operations).

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from office areas and common areas daily.
• Clean and maintain pool daily; monitor and balance pool chemicals.
• Check pool area gates for proper operation and ensure they are secured.
• Clean carpets in vacant and occupied units per Lead Maintenance.
• Water property plants between visits or in absence of lawn care contractor; report irrigation issues.
• Power washing as preventative maintenance.
• Trash removal from vacant units.
• Assist Housekeeper with cleaning offices, grounds, common areas, and vacant apartments.
