Ocean Reef Club on Buccaneer Island seeks a vigilant Recreation Department team member to monitor patron behavior and enforce Club rules. You will ensure family-friendly decorum and clear communication of policies to guests and staff.

The role requires swimming ability, ability to lift 45 pounds, and a neat, professional appearance. Regular attendance and flexibility with hotel schedules are expected.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certifications advantageous.
• Must be able to swim 100 yards.
• Able to lift a minimum 45 pounds.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly, both verbal and written.
• Friendly, confident and professional personality with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor behavior of all Club Members and guests on Buccaneer Island.
• Ensure Club-appropriate decorum is displayed at all times.
• Enforce rules to maintain a family-friendly environment.
• Ensure adherence to posted policies and procedures.
• Communicate Club Policy professionally to patrons and staff.
• Be highly visible to guests throughout the day.
• Document incidents, complaints, or suggestions daily to Supervisor.
• Maintain safe working environment and proper relations with members and guests.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily operations of beach and pool equipment.
