Job summary

Theislandfl is seeking an Activities Supervisor to oversee the beach and pool areas on shift, ensuring guest safety and exceptional service. The role involves directing Recreation Attendants, maintaining facilities, and managing equipment and towels for guest use.

Responsibilities include opening/closing areas, inventory, responding to guest requests, and upholding safety protocols. Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking are essential in a dynamic resort setting.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with watersports and equipment helpful.
• Reading and correctly interpreting guidelines and procedures.
• Basic math, and business English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the beach and pool area during shift and manages on-shift team members.
• Promotes safety guidelines to ensure guest safety.
• Opens and closes beach areas and completes daily shift checklists.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of beach and pool areas; assigns duties as needed.
• Stocks towels, distributes towels to guests, and monitors inventory.
• Assists guests with checking in/out equipment and reviewing safety information.
• Ensures rescue equipment is present and functional; aware of guest activity.
• Plans and supports recreational activities and inventory of supplies.
• Responds to questions and concerns with courteous, timely service.
• Builds rapport with guests using the 10 and 5 rule and proactive engagement.
