Qualifications

• High school education required or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects.
• Basic math; familiar with cash handling and balancing end of day reports.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases in a courteous, cheerful manner.
• Promote products and upsell to customers.
• Greet members by name and acknowledge all customers entering the shop.
• Open shop on time and be ready for customers.
• Keep shop clean, stocked, and displays refreshed.
• Restock merchandise daily and maintain appearance throughout the day.
• Balance day’s sales and complete required paperwork at close.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of merchandise and supplies.
