Prepare accurate, comprehensive takeoffs and budgets for the pool division. Two or more years in residential construction estimating or related fields are preferred; experience with Newstar ERP/estimating software and strong Excel cost analysis skills are highly desired.

Qualifications

Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for assigned plans with budgets.
Identify cost-saving techniques while maintaining quality standards.
Update pricing files and monitor costs across project phases.
Experience with Newstar or similar ERP/estimating software preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates and accurate quantity takeoffs for assigned plans; establish and monitor budgets for each phase of construction; and identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures that maintain required quality standards.
Perform requested cost comparisons and analyses, and update the pricing file to keep cost information accurate and current.
Monitor budgets, estimate the cost and impact of changes, and update applicable budgets and cost information accordingly.
Enter required estimating, purchasing, and cost information into Newstar accurately and promptly.
