Neal Communities of Southwest Florida, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Permit & Start Coordinator for Waterscape’s Pools & Spas to manage permitting, project startup, and documentation for residential pool builds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of permitting, project coordination, construction administration, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with permit applications, municipal agencies, and regulatory processes preferred.
• Experience with residential construction or pool construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate permitting for residential pool construction projects; ensure timely submissions and issuances.
• Prepare and submit permit applications with required docs from subcontractors and owners.
• Serve as primary contact with county and municipal agencies to facilitate approvals.
• Research changes to local permitting requirements to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate permit revisions, re-reviews, and extensions through issuance.
• Maintain knowledge of Notices of Commencement, fees, easements, and related docs.
• Prepare and assemble project start packages for construction readiness.
• Support pre-construction documentation and milestone communication.
• Create and organize project files in NewStar; ensure accessibility.
• Prepare homeowner closeout packages with warranties, inspections, and docs.
