Job summary

Florida Pool & Spa Association is seeking a Pool Construction Estimator to manage client relationships and oversee estimating and proposals for residential and commercial projects. You will bridge sales, operations, estimating and clients to ensure accurate pricing and clear communication during the transition from proposal to project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating, project coordination, account management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and project management systems.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction software is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for clients during estimating and preconstruction.
• Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and proposals.
• Analyze labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Track bid status, deadlines, and proposal follow-ups.
• Maintain CRM and estimating pipeline updates.
• Assist with value engineering options and alternative solutions.
• Support procurement and scheduling during project startup.
• Coordinate handoff with operations and project management.
