Hinana Bar at Prince Waikiki is seeking a friendly, attentive Waithelp to welcome guests, take orders, and serve cocktails and beverages from a poolside venue. You will engage guests, uphold Hawaii liquor laws, and use the resort POS system while ensuring timely service and upselling opportunities.

The role requires at least two years of cocktailing in a full-service bar, a Hawaii liquor card, and the ability to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work flexible day/night shifts in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Read and write English to perform job duties.
• Two years cocktailing experience in a full-service bar.
• Must obtain Hawaii State liquor commission card and follow all liquor laws.
• Dept. of Health TB clearance.
• Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Pass a written test on beverage and food items.
• Pass a practical service test.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests with a warm, inviting demeanor and engage with guests.
• Follow liquor laws and hotel policies while serving beverages.
• Sell food and beverages and upsell to enhance the guest experience.
• Be proficient with the POS system and handle checks properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies during service.
• Open wine bottles table side with proper etiquette.
