Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting in Brickell, FL is seeking a Pool Attendant for a luxury high-rise condo. This on-site, non-exempt role supports residents and guests with pool-area services and maintains pristine outdoor amenities.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work outdoors are essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests and assist with entry/exit of amenities.
• Set up umbrellas, lounge chairs, cabanas, tables and pool equipment.
• Monitor supplies (water dispensers, skin care products) and refill as needed.
• Fold towels and prepare them for residents.
• Ensure adherence to Association Rules and Regulations.
• Report malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Remove dirty towels and trash; keep pool area tidy.
• Maintain and organize pool furniture; complete daily checklists.

Job description

We are looking to hire a Pool Attendant for one of our New Developer High Rise Condos in Brickell. This is a 5-Star Luxury Residential Condo with best-in-class amenities and service. This property is on the southernmost part of Brickell so is easy to get in and out of in terms of city traffic.

Duties And Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Welcome and greet residents and their guests. Open entry and exit doors to and from the amenities as needed.
• Set up umbrellas, lounge chairs, cabanas, side tables, and other pool equipment as needed. Assist residents with the same.
• Ensure water dispensers and skin care products are readily available and monitored for refills throughout the shift.
• Fold towels daily to be offered to the residents.
• Ensure residents are complying with Association Rules and Regulations.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor.
• Remove dirty towels and trash.
• Maintain and organize the pool furniture.
• Complete daily check list.

Work Environment

The position will be mostly outdoors, near a pool. Moderate noise level.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.

Required Education And Experience

• Prior experience in a related position.
• Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
• Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during highly stressful situations.
• Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment with various team members in other departments.
• Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
