Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting seeks a friendly Beach & Pool Attendant in Fort Lauderdale to maintain our outdoor pool and beach areas daily. You will assist residents with lounge items and ensure amenities are available while upholding complex rules in a luxury environment.

The role requires high school education, prior luxury property experience preferred, and the ability to work outdoors, often standing for long periods. A team mindset and positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a related position; experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
• The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
• Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stress situations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the pool and beach areas are set up to company and property standards, on a daily basis.
• Be proactive in the ongoing enhancement of the beach.
• Welcome and greet residents and assist them with lounge covers, towels and umbrellas etc.
• Maintain a guest (resident) area and assist with amenities as needed.
• Monitor compliance of Association Rules and Regulations.
• Report any malfunction or needed maintenance immediately to Supervisor.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining beach equipment.
• Remove dirty towels and trash.
• Maintain and organize the pool area including the furniture.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
