Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a Pool/Beach Attendant to maintain a safe, clean aquatic area for residents and guests. This outdoor, beach-and-pool environment requires a friendly, proactive team member.

You will greet residents, assist with towels and umbrellas, monitor rules, report maintenance needs, and coordinate with the maintenance team to keep furniture and amenities orderly. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with schedule determined by the property, and requires effective

• Prior experience in a related position; experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
• Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stress situations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize and the ability to follow oral and written instructions;

Responsibilities

• Ensure pool and beach areas are set up to property standards on a daily basis.
• Be proactive in the ongoing enhancement of the beach.
• Welcome residents and assist them with lounge covers, towels and umbrellas.
• Maintain guest areas.
• Ensure proper use of amenities such as water, towels, ice buckets, sunscreen and so on.
• Monitor compliance of Association Rules and Regulations.
• Report any malfunction or needed maintenance immediately to Supervisor.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining beach equipment.
• Remove dirty towels and trash.
• Maintain and organize the pool area including the furniture and surroundings.

This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
