Job summary

The Perry Hotel Naples is seeking a dedicated lifeguard to supervise pool areas, ensure guest safety, and enforce rules in a bustling resort setting.

This role requires standing and moving for long periods, handling towels and wristbands, and reporting to the Guest Experience Manager.

Ideal candidates hold First Aid and CPR certifications and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard experience preferred; not required.
• First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool cleanliness and temperature.

• Manage daily guest list for hotel and marina.
• Arrange and clean pool furniture; sweep deck.
• Keep pool area debris-free and tidy.
• Punch in on time and report to Guest Experience Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Perry Hotel

Responsibilities/Duties

• Monitor the cleanliness and temperature of the pools.
• Monitor the safety of swimmers and pool guests.
• Enforce rules and regulations of swimming area.
• Distribute pool towels to guests.
• Ensure guests at the pool have proper wristbands for entry.
• Retrieve in house guest list for the hotel and marina daily.
• Arrange and clean pool furniture.
• Keep pool deck free from debris.
• Remove garbage from pool area.
• Sweep deck.
• Stock pool towels.
• Keep desk area clean and organized.
• Hand out towels.
• Punches in and reports to the Guest Experience Manager on time and in full uniform for each shift. Obtains lead Guest Experience Manager approval prior to punching out.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Education / Experience

Prior Lifeguard Experience Preferred, But Not Necessary. First Aid Certification. CPR Certification.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have command of the English language.
• Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
• Must be able to work flexible and extended days/hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
