Job summary

Hilton Sandestin Beach is seeking a Pool Attendant to provide towels and sun care products to guests and owners, and to help maintain a safe and enjoyable swimming environment.

You will set up the pool hut, check towels in and out, maintain pool equipment, and assist guests with information about the pool and surroundings. This outdoor role requires physical effort and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in an outside environment.
• Knowledge of outdoor activities and swimming required.
• Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions, sometimes extreme.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., carry, reach, bend, and twist.
• Must have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment and area are clean and stored in a safe manner.
• Sets up pool hut and check towels in and out.
• Maintains proper care, use, and arrangement of all pool equipment.
• Acts in a courteous, helpful, and efficient manner when dealing with guests and owners.
• Straightens and cleans the pool areas on a daily basis and all pool hut storage areas as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of the pool and surrounding areas in order to convey information to the guests.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to being enrolled in high school. High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

Prior guest services or other hospitality experience preferred.
