Position Summary

Performs public safety and recreational work supervising, swimming, and enforcing regulations at a hotel pool, as well as providing for the guests' comfort.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Observe and patrol the pool, enforce safety regulations, assist swimmers in danger, and perform resuscitation and first aid when needed.
• Clean pool areas and refill supplies to maintain a pleasant environment.
• Assist guests with supplies and demonstrate a friendly demeanor.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and computer-based learning.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be shared and feedback provided during performance reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of safety hazards, safety precautions, CPR, first aid, and pool equipment maintenance.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions, be friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; prior pool attendant experience.

License/Certifications: Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and complete CPR training.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing, crawling, standing, walking, and other movements listed. Duties are performed indoors and outdoors, subject to weather and potential hazards.
