Hourly wage: $15.00 per hour

*This role is part time and will work Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm*

Primary Purpose:

The Pool Attendant provides guests with an excellent amenity experience by delivering friendly, attentive, and timely service, and ensuring the pool and public spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Work Performed:

The duties of the Pool Attendant include:

• Cleaning and maintaining the hotel pool area, public areas, and laundry within hotel protocols, including:
• Removing used and unused linen/terry from the pool
• Washing, drying, and folding pool towels
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and amenities
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Cleaning glass, mirrors, dusting, and polishing furniture and equipment
• Emptying wastebaskets and disposing of trash
• Using approved cleaning chemicals
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Using laundering equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
• Making rounds to ensure areas are disinfected and tidy, and addressing any issues
• Upholding quality standards as per brand and Atrium guidelines
• Training new associates and supporting performance development
• Reporting damages, thefts, or lost articles to the supervisor
• Following safety, security, and company policies; reporting issues and hazards
• Performing any other duties necessary to fulfill the primary purpose of the role

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience, and customer service experience.

Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly; ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.

Other: Flexible to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
