Delray Sands Resort in Highland Beach, FL is hiring an Outdoor Pool and Beach Attendant (Full Time/Part Time). The role covers setup and breakdown of beach and pool areas, towel service, and guest assistance.

It is hourly plus tipped, with responsibilities including greeting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and performing safety procedures. Flexibility is required to work weekends and holidays; lifting requirements include up to 20 lbs and carrying up to 75 lbs, with attention to guest

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Able to lift 20 lbs and carry 75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintains positive guest relations and knowledge of daily counts and VIPs.
• Obtain and transport clean towels from Laundry to the pool deck; fold towels.
• Open, set up, and organize pool deck; arrange chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas.
• Remove trash and debris; sweep, wash and mop pool areas.
• Support pool safety procedures and assist with first aid when needed.

We are currently accepting applications to join our Outdoor Pool and Beach Attendant team at our beautiful beach front resort for Full Time and Part Time!

This is an hourly plus tipped position. The Pool & Beach Attendant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks from the set-up & breakdown of the beach and Pool each day to the upkeep of the entire beach and pool. Providing towels and chair covers at the pool while setting up umbrellas and keeping area clean. Setting up Lounge chairs, umbrella and cabanas on the beach as well as attending to the guests needs.

Must be able to push, pull, carry, 50 lbs. and work in the sun and heat for long periods of time

Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

The primary responsibility of attendant is toattendto the guests needs

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests arriving at the pool in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, responds promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of daily house count, VIPs in-house, arrivals/departures, all hotel facilities and services, and hours of operation for each F&B outlet.
• Obtain clean towels from Laundry and transport them to the pool deck; fold and stack towels.
• Open, set up, and organize pool deck.
• Set-up pool furniture, towels, and umbrellas.
• Remove trash and debris from all work areas and pool facilities.
• Sweep, wash down, mop, and clean the pool deck; use the squeegee to dry the decks.
• Check pool restrooms and throughout the shift for supply levels, cleanliness, and working order. Notify the proper departments of any needs.
• Adheres to all pool safety standards, including safety procedures for adverse weather conditions.
• Collects dirty towels left on chairs and pool deck.
• Utilize first aid and lifesaving procedures when situations demand.
• Complete closing duties. Return soiled towels to the Laundry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous Experience is a Plus
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service skills and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift to 20 lbs. and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
