Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital Sleep Lab is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to conduct sleep studies, staging, and technical scoring in accordance with AASM standards. The role collaborates with the ambulatory supervisor and medical leadership to ensure high-quality diagnostic services and patient experience.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, and supporting new testing modalities.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of healthcare experience.
• High School diploma.
• RPSGT certification or active status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies and sleep staging per AASM standards.
• Perform technical scoring of sleep events and troubleshoot equipment.
• Educate patients and families; mentor new sleep technicians; provide coverage as needed.
