Job summary

Corewell Health Sleep Center in Southfield is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for night shifts. The role involves performing sleep studies for adults and children, with infant rooms and daytime testing flexibility as ordered. Part-time nights run 6:30 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m. at Sleep Evaluation Services Southfield. The team includes board-certified physicians and NPs, with a strong focus on pediatric sleep services and home sleep apnea testing.

Qualifications

• Formal training in polysomnography program and/or enrolled in a CAAHEP/CoARC polysomnography program.
• Enrolled in or completed A-STEP online Self Study Modules.
• Staff must accumulate at least 10 hours yearly of sleep-related CE credits.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under supervision.
• Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
• Possibly supervise other staff as part of the team.
