Job summary

UP Health System Bell is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician to join the sleep center team on a PRN basis for overnight coverage. The role supports pediatric through geriatric patients, performing polysomnographic data acquisition and ensuring data quality.

Qualified candidates hold RPSGT, BLS, and an associate degree in polysomnography or equivalent, with Michigan licensure preferred. This is a union position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continued education.

Qualifications

• Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Primary Source Verification: Board of Polysomnographic Technologists; Michigan license preferred for Respiratory Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, information, medications and study protocol.
• Explain procedures and orient patient to the sleep center.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and ensure proper function.
