Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for night shifts at the St. Clair Shores Healthcare Center.

The role involves comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient education. Qualifications include formal polysomnography training or enrollment in an accredited program (CAAHEP/CoARC), A-Step coursework within two years for non-registered staff, ongoing CE credits, and a current BLS

Qualifications

• Formally trained in polysomnography or enrolled in an accredited polysomnography program (CAAHEP/CoARC)
• Non-registered technologists must complete A-Step online modules within two years
• Minimum 10 hours per year of sleep-related continuing education
• Current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic testing and related diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Provide patient care and education
• May supervise other staff and support clinical operations under supervision of Medical Director/manager
