Job summary

American Academy of Sleep Medicine is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for night shifts in our Sleep Lab. The role covers two Portland-area locations, with a schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three nights per week, across pediatric and adult populations.

You will ensure high quality data acquisition, scoring and timely physician review. Responsibilities include performing nocturnal PSG, MSLT, MWT, home apnea testing and PAP-related testing, while maintaining documentation in EPIC and lab

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Polysomnographic Technologist (LPSGT) credential
• BRPT certification and/or RRT credentials
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills and EPIC/EMR familiarity
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Score at least one acquired sleep study per shift and prepare for physician review
• Monitor, adjust and troubleshoot PSG equipment per lab standards
• Perform PSG, MSLT and MWT with adult and pediatric populations
• Document data accurately in EPIC and lab templates
• Provide training and oversight for technicians and trainees
