Job summary

MultiCare Neuroscience Institute seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist/Scorer to operate specialized sleep study equipment and perform diagnostic sleep studies. The role requires BRPT certification, CPR, and 1 year of polysomnography experience, with 0.9 FTE on the night shift (Wednesday–Friday, 36 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Polysomnographic training or Respiratory Therapy training or EEG Technology; or Bachelor's degree in health-related science or psychology; or combination of education and experience in a related field
• Boarded by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
• One year of polysomnographic technology experience required
• One year of scoring experience required
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Record sleep/wake physiology and perform diagnostic polysomnography per physician orders
• Operate and monitor polysomnography equipment with minimal supervision
• Identify and respond to unusual patient events and ensure patient safety
