**Details**

+ Department: Sleep Lab

+ Schedule: Part-time, Night shift, 8pm-6:30am

+ Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers

+ Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

+ Salary: $28.40 - $39.30 per hour

**Responsibilities**

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.
• Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing.
• Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
• Perform and document testing.
• Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
• Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing.
• Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.

**Requirements**

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One or more of the following:
• Cert Polysomnographic Tech credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) obtained within 12 months of hire or transfer.
• Reg Polysomnographic Tech credential from the BRPT obtained within 12 months of hire or transfer.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience.
