Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Research Manager (Polymers) to lead polymers R&D in a laboratory setting. You will guide laboratory teams, oversee project execution, and ensure research is conducted safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end, supervising staff, and maintaining robust documentation and data systems. Strong polymer knowledge and GLP/GMP familiarity are preferred for driving quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading lab teams in a research setting with project management experience.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills and technical proficiency with lab instruments.
• Knowledge of polymers and familiarity with GLP/GMP/CD-based regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects from planning to data analysis and reporting.
• Supervise lab staff and ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
• Oversee documentation and LIMS for data integrity and traceability.
• Collaborate with other functions to align research with development goals.
• Improve research quality and regulatory compliance to support sound decisions.
