Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Research Manager (Polymers) to lead R&D activities in a laboratory setting. You will guide laboratory teams, oversee project execution, and ensure research complies with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include managing projects, supervising staff, and coordinating cross-functional communication to support R&D goals. Strong knowledge of polymers and GLP/GMP regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading laboratory teams in a research setting.
• Strong project management, analysis, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Technical proficiency with laboratory instruments and data collection.
• Knowledge of polymers and regulatory frameworks (GLP/GMP/CGMP/FDA) preferred.
• Experience in microbiology, molecular biology, or clinical trials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage research projects from planning through data collection and analysis, coordinating priorities, resources, and timelines.
• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure consistent use of laboratory procedures, techniques, and instruments.
• Oversee laboratory operations, including documentation and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Partner across functions to communicate findings, address project needs, and support research and development goals.
