Stepan Company is hiring an Asset Manager - Polymers at our Northbrook, IL location. This role owns Profit and Loss for assigned assets and product lines and drives profitability through operations, energy management, inventory and network optimization.

Candidates should have 5+ years of related business experience (8+ preferred), a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and strong analytical, project management and cross-functional leadership skills within a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Own the Profit and Loss of assigned assets and product lines across regions.
• Develop asset strategies to maximize profitability through operations, energy management, inventory and network optimization.
• Lead capacity and demand planning with long-term sales forecasts and S&OP processes.
• Support growth through regional, product line or asset-specific plans and project management.
• Build external relationships with customers and suppliers to inform product strategies.
