Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Wash Line Operator at the Polymer Center to oversee grinding and wash-line processes, ensure safety, and maintain equipment. You will lead operations on your shift, perform inspections, monitor production and waste, and troubleshoot basic issues to keep lines running smoothly.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong safety practices, and reliable delivery of quality recycling outputs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or recycling experience.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot line equipment at a basic level.

Responsibilities

• Remove unsafe conditions from Grinding and Wash Line processes.
• Execute the Grinding and Wash Line plan on your shift.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Safely operate Grinding and Washing equipment.
• Monitor production and waste for unacceptable material.
• Monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime.
• Perform minor equipment service; refer complex issues for repair.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs to Supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Represent the Company to drive customer satisfaction.
• Execute other operational plans to meet budgeted goals.
• Support product delivery and maintenance activities.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and drive engagement.
• Perform other duties as needed.
