Job summary

Orbia Connectivity Solutions Dura-Line in Clinton, Tennessee is seeking a production team member to perform cleanup in the grinding area, manage waste, and assist with material processing in line with safety standards.

The role emphasizes participation in cycle counts, reporting unsafe conditions, and collaborating with extrusion and grinding personnel to ensure smooth operations, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleanup in the grinding area and manage waste disposal.
• Empties trash from work area as required.
• Completes regrind report tags for material processed and ensures proper identification of reprocessed materials.
• Performs cable retrieval as needed.
• Breaks down empty gaylords as received from Extrusion.
• Processes scrap cable-in-duct materials and coordinates with extrusion personnel to move materials to grinding area.
• Participates in monthly/quarterly/annual cycle counts.
• Reports unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisor/management.
• Participates in all plant activities including training, safety and continuous improvement.
• Performs other production duties as trained and assigned.
