Job summary

MAAG Americas, a division of Dover Corporation, seeks an Applications Engineer for the Polymer Pumps product line. The role focuses on identifying complex applications and developing solutions that meet customer needs, bridging sales, development, service, and customers with deep knowledge of mechanics, polymer science, and operations.

As a technical expert, you will work with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions, provide support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or polymer engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Willing to travel 25% or more, especially during training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert product and application knowledge.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on project application engineering and project management including quoting, configuring customer systems, and managing project timelines and communication.
• Partner with engineering, service, quality, and supply chain to drive project technical success.
• Resolve technical support requests related to product selection, installation, etc.
• Support new product development and existing product improvement projects.
• Plan and facilitate technical training for customers from C-suite to operators.
