Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in automotive plastics or polymer manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and quality management software.
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills; ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Improve existing manufacturing methods to increase productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Drive process improvements in upstream equipment performance and implement standardized work instructions.
  • Implement new technology to reduce line breakage.
  • Work to increase output by 15–20% through new technology and efficiency gains.
  • Analyze operational data and perform root cause analysis to resolve bottlenecks and equipment failures.
  • Oversee processes and 5S standards to optimize production line performance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and coordinate with departments for new equipment installation.
  • Present data and reports to senior management.
  • Support CAPEX budgeting and equipment needs for capacity expansion.
