Job summary
Blue Polymers, LLC, located in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Process Engineer to ensure consistent production of high-quality polymers. You will implement Process Control Plans, SOCs, and standardized practices while driving safety, quality, productivity, and yield improvements on the production floor.
The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, data analysis, root cause investigation, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Commercial teams to deliver operational
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote and transfer best process, equipment, and operational practices across all production lines.
- Partner with Safety Team to evaluate PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Identify and mitigate equipment, process, and operational hazards through proactive troubleshooting.
- Ensure products meet formulation, quality, and performance requirements by adhering to Product and Process Control Plans.
- Troubleshoot production equipment and processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, uptime, and yield.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, process capability, throughput, and OEE.
- Provide hands-on support on the production floor; adjust machine settings and troubleshoot during shifts.
- Train operators on SOCs, process controls, and standard operating conditions.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to implement permanent corrective actions and improve machine reliability.
