Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician at the Mogadore, OH facility to support polymer development and manufacturing. You will operate reactors, weigh materials, charge batches, monitor reactions, and perform product testing within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, data collection, and collaboration with the innovation team. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with shift differentials for afternoon and midnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and support safety goals including company rules and SHE principles.
• Follow standard operating procedures to safely operate process equipment.
• Learn and work across manufacturing processes and communicate with the innovation team.
• Collect, record, and communicate experimental data, both written and verbal.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in process development.
• Assist with packaging, shipping/receiving, and equipment preparation as needed.
