Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in Ohio to maintain Pilot Plant operations, performing electrical and mechanical installation, repairs and calibration of equipment. You will ensure safe, timely, and effective maintenance and input data into the plant maintenance system.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably chemical/production).
• Self-starter capable of working in a high-paced environment and collaborating with maintenance/production teams.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use mechanical/electrical equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and replacement/installation of motors, pumps, bearings, gears, shafts, etc.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment up to 480V.
• Read and interpret piping specifications, engineering and electrical drawings.
• Maintain and input data into the maintenance management system.
• Support safety goals and participate in the Emergency Response Team.
