Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with compounding, prototyping, and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot lab or pilot-plant equipment.
• Accurate weighing, mixing, math calculations, and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, weigh and mix materials, perform tests per procedures.
• Operate compounding, parison-manufacturing, and testing equipment to meet specs.
• Support initial process development and Design lab sample prep.
• Review results with researchers and engineers; resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, improve equipment effectiveness.
• Safely operate lab and pilot-plant equipment; assist calibration/verification.
• Maintain records; prepare clear reports; compute results with accuracy.
• Perform mathematical calculations and critical-thinking checks.
• Manage multiple tasks; meet deadlines; communicate status clearly.
• Follow Quality System and safety protocols; keep areas clean and organized.
