Job summary

Synthomer plc in Ohio is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician to support polymer development and commercial manufacturing. You will prepare and run polymerization reactions, weigh materials, monitor processes, and perform product testing within a fast-paced team.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, strong communication, and the ability to work across multiple shifts, with overtime as needed. Training leads to expanded unit operations and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to pass PIT certification within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run polymerization reactions and clean reactors.
• Weigh raw materials, charge batches, monitor reactions, and test products.
• Support manufacturing process including material charging, vessel operation, and packaging.
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures.
