Job summary

Dow invites applications for an Associate Operator position at the Prentiss, Alberta facility. The role operates assigned equipment, monitors process conditions, and works within a 24-hour, rotating shift environment to support safety and efficiency.

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and an ABSA 4th class Power Engineering Certificate, with 2+ years of related experience and a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active ABSA 4th class Power Engineering Certificate required.
• 2+ years of related operations, instrumentation, mechanical or electrical work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment and plant areas following work processes.
• Monitor process conditions and key performance metrics to meet plant goals.
• Perform scheduled operational tasks and respond to unplanned events.
• Collaborate with shift teams to balance workload and meet due dates.
• Maintain safety and operating discipline and complete training goals.
