Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery.
• Experience representing policyholders and counseling on insurance recovery.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
• Federal clerkship experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation and disputes.
• Advise clients on recovery strategy and a broad range of coverage issues.
• Analyze and interpret complex policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage provisions.
• Draft coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Assist clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party claims.
• Work closely with clients, insurers, brokers, adjusters, and defense counsel.
• Support all phases of litigation from discovery to trial preparation.
