Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in insurance recovery or policyholder-side coverage counseling.
• Demonstrated experience representing policyholders and counseling clients on insurance recovery.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
• High degree of professionalism, initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Represent corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage matters, including litigation, arbitrations, and other disputes across various coverages.
• Advise clients on recovery strategy and a broad range of coverage issues.
• Analyze and interpret complex policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage provisions.
• Draft coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Assist clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third‑party liability losses.
• Collaborate with clients, insurers, brokers, adjusters, and defense counsel to advance objectives.
• Support all phases of litigation including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
