Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help translate policy into practical, compliant decisions for an integrated eligibility platform.

You will analyze federal and state Medicaid policies, research requirements, and guide teams across product, design, and engineering to improve government service delivery. Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or authoritative guidance.
• Self‑directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including technical and policy contexts.
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policy, such as applications, verification, renewals, notices, or appeals.
• Experience with agile delivery and human-centered design processes.
• Graduate degree in public policy, public administration, or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Work authorization that doesn’t require visa sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Translate policy into decisions, tradeoffs, and actionable direction for teams.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions.
• Create policy briefs, decision frameworks, and process flows to support decision‑making.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation through scenarios and edge cases.
• Conduct landscape and cross‑jurisdictional research to monitor evolving policies.
• Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise and lessons learned.
