The role requires policy analysis, research, and strong communication with internal and external partners, with an emphasis on public programs and government operations. Remote-friendly with Pacific Time availability.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience or relevant graduate-level education.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or authoritative guidance.
• Ability to translate policy into implementable decisions and priorities.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external partners.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in policy contexts.
• Understanding of public programs across multiple levels of government.
• Ability to document research processes clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences with cross-functional teams.
• Identify regulatory constraints and propose compliant, user-friendly solutions.
• Create policy briefs, decision frameworks, and process flows to support decisions.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation.
• Conduct landscape research across jurisdictions and translate into implementation implications.
• Synthesize research for diverse internal and external audiences.
• Build relationships with external partners to exchange implementation lessons.
• Contribute to advocacy strategy development and execution.
