Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, invites applications for an Intern in the Government Law and Policy Team in our Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on research, policy analysis, and supporting senior attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining client service standards. The in-office position offers exposure to legislative processes and advocacy activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and MS Office.
• Experience with AI platforms and data privacy awareness.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts legislative research on issues, bills, and policy proposals.
• Monitors legislation, hearings, and provides summaries and memos.
• Assists in advocacy strategy development and client events.
• Prepares meeting materials and coordinates schedules.
• Organizes client events and coordinates with marketing on BD.
• Maintains confidentiality and manages client relationships.
• Drafts memos, letters, and emails; supports admin tasks.
• Hours are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
