Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Environmental Policy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in government affairs, regulatory affairs, public policy, or related support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize regulatory info for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple deadlines across projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with tracking/database tools.

Responsibilities

  • Track pending state and local legislation, rulemaking, and policy developments relevant to data center and energy infrastructure.
  • Prepare briefing materials, one-pagers, and talking points for meetings with legislators and officials.
  • Maintain and update contact databases for officials and agency staff.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings, hearings, and testimony.
  • Draft public comments for agency rulemaking processes.
