Job summary

Great American Insurance Group's Great American Financial Institution Services unit is seeking a policy administration supervisor who can coordinate daily tasks and lead a team. The role requires on-site days with one remote day, and opportunities to improve processes and ensure accuracy.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent and 2+ years in insurance. You will work with underwriters and agents, using Excel and internal systems, and help drive compliance and process

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Field of Study: Business, Insurance, Finance, Liberal Arts or related discipline.
• Experience: Generally, 2 or more years of related experience.
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Business Unit: Financial Institution Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of employees performing policy administration tasks.
• Prioritize workload and delegate assignments to ensure timely completion.
• Review completed assignments for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of state-specific policy endorsements and requirements.
• Utilize computerized systems for research and information gathering.
• Collaborate with underwriters, agents, brokers, reinsurers, and insureds.
