Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret laws, policies, and contracts relevant to policy matters.
• Prepare legal memoranda for the Executive Office of Administration and Finance.
• Provide policy and legal recommendations and draft legislation related to the state budget, bonds, and supplemental budgets.
• Advise on legislative matters, including analysis, comments, and drafting legislation.
• Analyze proposed regulations and advise on legal and implementation considerations.
• Develop policy proposals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop understanding of federal compliance guidance.
• Perform duties as required by the General Counsel or Deputy General Counsels.
