  • Effective legal writing skills and ability to independently handle litigation.
  • Demonstrated interest in public service and working in a collaborative public-law environment.

Responsibilities

  • Represent state officials and agencies in appeals and litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Handle matters regarding state statutes, regulations, policies, and agency adjudicatory decisions.
  • Assist in defending constitutional issues in diverse cases and provide counsel to the Government Bureau.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a hybrid work setting across multiple office locations.
