Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Public Policy Manager to support policy strategies affecting data center infrastructure, energy use, site selection, and economic development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, economic development, or energy related fields.
• 5+ years of energy policy experience with ability to support business needs
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinating deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
• Experience working with large cross-functional groups including technical teams

Responsibilities

• Support execution of cross-functional policy initiatives related to data center infrastructure, energy, economic development, site selection and environmental policy issues
• Identify and track energy and data center infrastructure related legislation across US States and US Federal with review processes
• Work with internal partners, trade associations and external consultants to identify policy issues impacting Meta data center operations
• Support policy and engagement strategies informed by business needs, research and public opinion climate
• Facilitate alignment across internal teams and external partners, including trade associations
• Prepare summary docs and memos on infrastructure and energy policies to support external engagement and internal alignment
• Support other policy issues such as tax and trade policy as needed
