Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to support infrastructure and energy policy initiatives for data center operations and site selection. You will work with internal teams, trade associations, and external consultants to shape policy strategies at the state and federal levels.

The role requires deep experience in energy policy, strong project management, and an ability to translate business needs into policy actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy policy or related field.
• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and deadlines across teams.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic policy initiatives.
• Ability to work with large cross-functional groups, including technical teams.
• Experience engaging with external partners, trade associations, or consultants.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of policy initiatives related to data center infrastructure, energy, and economic development.
• Identify and track energy and infrastructure related legislation across US states and federal level.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to assess policy impacts on Meta data center operations.
• Prepare summaries and memos on infrastructure and energy policies to support engagement and alignment.
• Support policy strategies related to tax and trade as needed.
