Vox Media seeks an experienced editor to oversee its policy coverage across text, podcasts, and video. You will lead a multiplatform journalism team, guiding sharp analysis and original angles that illuminate policy and ideas for Vox’s wide-ranging audience.

The editor will manage reporting teams, collaborate with editorial leadership, and shape coverage across platforms to explain complex issues clearly. This is a hybrid, permanent full-time role based in Washington, D.C. or New York City.

Competenze

• 5+ years editing experience.
• Understanding of politics, policy podcast and video landscape.
• Strong leadership, management, and editing skills.
• Excellent news judgment with ability to bring analysis and sharp angles to stories.
• Analytical rigor; ability to pressure-test arguments and embrace nuance while remaining clear.
