Job summary

Vox Media is seeking a Senior Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for editorial, podcast, revenue, and operations roles across Vox Media and New York Magazine. You will partner with senior leaders, build proactive pipelines, and ensure a high-touch candidate experience in a fast-changing media environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting, strong sourcing skills, and experience advising hiring managers on strategy and compensation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• In-house recruiting experience preferred, with a track record of closing candidates.
• Experience recruiting editorial, creative, and audio/podcast talent.
• Strong sourcing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to structure bias-aware interview processes and write scorecards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for editorial, podcast, revenue, and operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to scope roles and hiring plans.
• Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing and referrals.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience with timely updates.
• Run bias-aware interview processes and coach interviewers.
• Manage multiple searches with aligned timelines.
• Own offer strategy and negotiation with People leadership.
• Track pipeline metrics and report on time-to-fill and risks.
• Stay current on media/journalism/podcasting talent landscape.
